For various reasons, many any of our clients wish to shoot in our (6 month long) Summer from approximately October to March inclusive.

On many occasions crews have flown straight in from a Northern Hemisphere winter to temperatures in excess of 40 degrees celcius (104F) and attempted to work at a normal pace. When people start running around in the heat, this can and does cause all sorts of issues.
Make no mistake, this is dangerous and potentially lethal. Please adjust your schedule to the conditions, and if possible plan to shoot just the first and last few hours of the day. Typically, add a day. These reduced shoot hours are usually not a big imposition as our days can be as long as 13 hours in Summer.

We will be happy to advise on preventative measures before you arrive and while ultimately your crew is your responsibility, we reserve the right to modify our own workload for the environmental conditions if necessary.
At ASFTV we believe that no project is worth serious injury or death.

Naturally, we will be happy to also brief you on other potential dangers and annoyances such as driving conditions, snakes, spiders, scorpions and anything else starting with “s” that can bite you.
