ASFTV supply HD XDCAM, HDV and SD camera crews for many purposes whether it’s news, documentary, TVC or corporate. Our kit includes: Sony PMW 350K XDCAM with Fujinon HD 16X lens system, nanoflash allowing 4:2:2 HD bit rates up to 220mb/s, on-location safety back-up with 500gb Nexto NVS 2500 allowing simultaneous USB drive back-up. Miller compass 15, DS 10 , DS 5 or Sachtler support, Dedo 150w lighting kit, Sachtler daylight LED camera light, c-stands, reflectors, Rode boom pole and blimp, camouflage netting. FCP edit suite available for edit, transfer or view on 30” mac monitor or Sony 46” HD monitor.

We have just finished an in-depth shoot with the Australian Opera for the Australia Council and Qantas in-flight entertainment. Over 3 days ASFTV had almost unfettered and exclusive access to cast and crew backstage, on-stage and even covered some private moments shooting a total of some 7 hours of footage! We have also just finished shooting on XD CAM for Storyhouse Productions U.S. on the National Geographic Channel documentary “2012:The Final prophecy”.

We provided crew in June for the Gosling Films UK documentary “Song of the Outback “ based on the life of Australian music legend John Williamson.

Over the last few years we’ve supplied documentary crews for SBS and CAAMA, ENG crews for the ABC, Nine, Seven and Ten networks including “A Current Affair”,“Dateline” and “Lateline”, and crews for general productions such as “drive.com.au”, “Outback wildlife rescue” and the BBC series “Rolf on Art”.

We also have available a remote unit (with Driver/Operator) which includes an off-road trailer with enclosed canopy and solar power (handy for remote battery charging/lighting etc.), a 6 metre and 3 metre pipe dolly, a 4 metre high aluminium jib, two aluminium framed silver reflectors 2 X 3m. We can also run remote power up to 1600 watts continuous from a silent inverter, we have camouflage nets, industrial fans etc, just ask and we’ll quote for your specific package.
